The North Penn Knights are heading south for four days of sun soaked baseball!

On Wednesday morning, the North Penn Knights left for their annual "spring training" session in Myrtle Beach.  This year's trip adds a new opportunity as the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams both travel together.  In previous years, the Varsity baseball team took to the road to find their pre-season swings.

The trip features a full schedule of baseball games where both teams will be playing four games in just three days.  Hitting the road means the Knights will face a list of new opponents including: Absegami, Kenston, South Park, St. John's, Greenville, McDowell, and Queensbury.

While this year's spring weather and less than ideal field conditions have prevented the Knights from getting many live games in, the sunny forecast in Myrtle Beach looks promising.  Highs are in the upper 60's with little to no chance of rain.
